Don't You Dare routed the opposition en route to claim the Indo Tibetan Border Police Cup, the feature event at the Delhi races held on Friday. Trainer Magan Singh notched up a creditable treble, while jockey Pawan Sharma earned a double.

Magan Singh-trained Don’t You Dare, who could not participate in the last outing after being declared a non-starter, started off at fourth position behind Ashwa Prisha, Air Forse One and Star Sparkle. As Ashwa Prisha began to fall back abruptly, the son of Ansbach and Donna Mia had only Air Forse One and Star Sparkle to tackle over the mile trip. After entering into the last furlong, the bay filly found the leader huffing and puffing and that made her task easy to complete an encore on promotion in class four. She should set her sight for a hat-trick. Black Virgin, who came from the back of the field, warmed up late to head Ashwa Prithvi out to occupy the third berth behind Air Forse One. Sol, who was the joint favourite with Don't You Dare, was ridden off the pace before finishing sixth.

The Indo Tibetan Border Police Garhwal Range Plate, which was the opening event of the day, was also the first race for the juveniles. A lack of preparation of the youngsters had made the club to ask for the final entry. With two beginners getting scratched out, the race turned out to be two-trainers affair. Ishwar Singh Parmar had three runners whereas, Aleem had only two. Eventually, it was the Aleem's trainee Real Stunner, who proved her superiority by making every post a winning one. The daughter of Ontario and Aseelah is capable of maintaining the form.

Master Faster, who is the brother to the class one runner Master Blaster, was running close at the haunches of Real Stunner before finding her too fast to catch up till the final furlong of the five furlong's competition. His stablemate Master Champion ran on to be impressive close third.

Magan's Beyond Compare had it easy in a pillar to post affair in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Himveer Plate. One of the favourites, Energetic Girl, who ran widest of all throughout the trip, just managed to peg back Ashwa Prabha and Spot Hit for the second position. The last named bears watching.

King of Lords from the yard of Magan Singh took an erratic jump but was pushed vigorously by Pawan Sharma to be up with the field within the early part to chase Alabaster till the top of the homestretch. El Sharara, who came from the mid bunch, finished to be impressive second ahead of Real Speed and Alabaster in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Kumaon Range Plate. El Sharara and Real Speed should soon raise a winning gallop.

Ishwar Singh Parmar's Master Crown just managed to maintain his start-to-finish essay in the upper division of the Indo Tibetan Border Police North East Range Plate. Neko, who came from the sixth position, was only alerted to the task inside the distance to fall short by a whisker. In the lower division of race, Confidential Lady necked Flight of fancy out. The latter should make amends. The market fancied Perpetual Glory failed to justify the favouritism and finished poor fourth behind Elementto Trance.
