Four fancied runners returned winners out of six races on the day. Rank outsider, Indian Dancer stunned everyone with a dashing victory in the Sri. S. Ramakrishnam Raju Memorial Cup, the feature of the day. Come Together had just managed to get to the front near the 300 metres but was finding it difficult to stay there. Doing my Best and Bella Coola rallied well from the rear to take the second and fourth slots respectively.

Ananth Vatsalya’s Kohinoor Mystic showed a clean pair of heels while winning the Dundoo Ekambar Memorial Cup, the opening race of the day. Ivory Snow finished second with a late run.

Anemometer raised hopes after taking it up from Stormy Gladiator on the straight but found his efforts not good enough when Smrithiman picked up momentum in the Smt. C. Mohana Kumari Sathyanarayana Memorial Cup. Ujjaini was permitted to be withdrawn.

King’s Cruise was ridden in check in eighth position till 700 metres, gradually improved places, challenged Phar Lap near the distance marker and surged ahead to win the Forest Treasure Plate. Meticulous was permitted to be withdrawn after he refused to move into the gates.

Rainbow Fog won the six furlongs Onnu Onnu Onnu Plate from start to finish. Royal Tune’s best efforts to catch the leader failed and he finished second.

Al Jabal won the concluding race, beating the favourite Alberton Star. Al Jabal drifted out on the straight but managed to pass Alberton in front of the grand stand. Kansas City Mac moved from the rear to take the third slot.
