Ode To Nature left the field in the lurch, while annexing the Bolrace.Com Trophy, which was the feature event of the Delhi races on Thursday. None of the professionals were able to earn a double. Deepak Kalra-trained Ode to Nature, who ran nowhere in his last outing and for which an enquiry was held, had no Class I opposition to face when he came to his terms by making every post a winning one over the six furlongs trip. The ease, at which the Gaswar-Blue Hen gelding scored his victory, gets him to set sights for a quick encore.

Enya, who has been struggling with form ever since the beginning of the season, warmed up late to hold late finishing Master Blaster by a neck for the runner-up berth. The latter should score over a mile. Interestingly, Red Reef finished fourth for the fifth consecutive time. The favourite Shocking Star was found bleeding from the nostrils after finishing fifth.

Available at nourishing odds, Ishwar Singh Parmar's First N Impression led from the front to emerge victorious in the upper division of the Bol Sports Bulletin Plate, the opening event of the day. Serious Attitude, who has not been able to raise a winning gallop as yet, finished second ahead of the market fancy Conquerers Flame.

The lower division of the plate saw a close finish between Daring Love and Thunder Cat. The former, who was unable to get a clear passage between Thunder Cat and Chepetzuha till the 300m marker, was forced to shift out of its track to prevail over the latter by half a length at the wire. The Aleem trainee should be noted upto 1100m. The grey daughter of Ansbach and Grey Lightning should make amends soon. Cheptzuha and Fleet of Feet, who finished third and fourth respectively, should soon come out of their maiden status in the near future.

Zulfiqar Khan's Rios Girl proved her merit by raising a fluent gallop to notch her maiden win in the Leading Tipster Plate. Her victory was on the cards, considering the fact that Red Rose, who finished third behind her in the last outing, had stripped fitter recently. Coming from the seventh position, the chestnut daughter of Gaswar and Midnight Escape foiled the start to finish bid of Crusoe. Miss Marine, who finished fourth behind Seven Eight Six, will be in different customer in the next venture.

H Ali Khan-saddled Graceful Bay, who had originally finished second, was rewarded the prime slot after stripping of the title from The Dukes, following an objection raised by the third placed Steel Force, in the Best of Luck Plate. The Dukes, who was relegated to the third spot, had obstructed the path of Steel Force by cutting across sharply and giving him a severe check between the last 200m and 100m. Steel Force, who has now played the role of second fiddle for the second consecutive time, should soon score.

Sartaj Singh's Zoombastic was too good for Mystic Miracle in the day's concluding event - the Hotline Plate. Cashing-in on an advantage of finishing close third to Wild Power in the last appearance over seven furlongs, an extra furlong on this occasion made all the difference. Splendid Man, who was in the lead till the distance post, finished an impressive third ahead of Firecracker, whose run is best ignored.
