he Champ of Hyderabad Winter Season
The end of the season championship awards, for the Winter Races 2009-10, were given away by Mr. R.Surender Reddy, Chairman, Hyderabad Race Club, on Monday, as the season came to an end for the purpose of tabulation of championship points.
The following topped their respective categories.
1. Champion Trainer: Mr. K.S.V. Prasad Raju with 42 wins.
2. Champion Jockey: Mr. Imran Khan with 35 wins.
3. Champion Indian Jockey/App. Jockey: Mr. P. Venkat with 3 wins
4. Leading Individual Owner: Dr. & Mrs. Vijay Mallya, rep. The United Racing & Bloodstock Breeders Ltd with Rs.99, 41,100 stake money.
5. Leading Individual Owner: Col. S. B. Nair with Rs.35, 92,500 stake money.

6. Leading Joint Owners: M/s. D. Pratap Chander Reddy & Susheel Kumar Gupta with Rs. 86,15,535 stake money.
