When red roses were being gifted to the loveable ones to celebrate the Valentine day, A Khan-trained Real stunner (C S Jodha atop) chose to crush "Red Rose" en route to lift the AB Stud sponsored Fillies Trial Stakes, the main event of the Delhi races on Tuesday. In the card of eight races, Jockey Chhotu Singh Jodha and Aleem Khan were the successful professionals by booting home a creditable treble respectively.

In the field of eight youngsters, six fillies were from the yard of Aleem Khan and none of them had the experience of running over the seven furlongs barring the other two competitors Red Rose and Tiny Temper. Real stunner made a quick dash but the stablemate Secret Power quickly snatched the issue to set the pace. Impulsion and Red Rose were following them until the latter was forced back to be sixth till the top of the homestretch. The daughter of Ontario and Aseelah, Real Stunner, who was unable to meet with success after making an impressive winning debut, walked away in an impressive manner.

Red Rose, who looked struggling for a clear passage against a wall of five horses till the final curve, had to leave the rails to make a move from the widest of all to occupy the runner-up berth ahead of Impulsion. The daughter of Duja and Bellagio, Red Rose should make amends.  Secret Power should be noted over five furlongs.

The day also turned out be a memorable for the Haider Ali Khan-saddled Ratnavali, who raised a winning gallop in start to finish after a gap of over three years in the upper division of the Young Senor Plate, which was the curtain raiser event. Ashwa Paylaia, who showed a lack of early speed, finished second ahead of Huge Price and is expected to bring laurels for the connections soon.

The lower division of the plate witnessed a close finish between Perfect Affect and Taraka's Power. The latter failed narrowly to foil wire to wire attempt of the former. Taraka's Power should be noted upto 1200m. Fleet of Feet, who ran third, and Sultan Ayubi, who came from the hind group before finishing fourth, would be able to earn bracket soon.

K Ali Khan's Beatrice rose to occasion in the senior division of the Gentle spy Plate. The six years old chestnut mare of san Fransico and Blue sonata is in rousing form and should complete a hat-trick. However, impressive runner of the field was Amity, who despite running over the shorter trip, necked Albaster out to finish third behind Real Speed.

The junior division of the race was at the mercy of the favourite Truculent Star. The Magan Singh's charge should extend his winning streak. Roaming Fame and Gold Spark, who finished second and third respectively, are capable to race to glory in near future.

After doing the role of second fiddle in the last two outings, A Khan's Steel Force eventually found his winning shoes in the French Suitor Plate. Gangajal, who was available at nourishing odds, tried hard to regain the lead which he lost to Steel Force before the final furlong, failed short by a half-a-length behind. Best of Luck caught the eye finishing fourth behind Zabardast.

Mohsin Khan's Game of Talent routed the class four in the General Andres Plate (div.I). He should complete an encore. I s Parmar's Fearless Tiger brought the curtain down by registering a narrow victory over Dancing Babe in the division two of the same plate.
