Pretty Girl continued to create a terror among the opposition. En route to complete a hat-trick, she demolished the class three fields in the upper division of the Lt Governor Cup.

Movie Queen was quickest of the block and she sat close to her before being pushed back by Ashwa Panama near the curve. As the duo headed for the homestretch, she found ample space between them to sneak through passing 300mts marker. The way the Rajinder's ward has been performing, she should definitely complete a quadruple. Jockey Jai Prakash rode the filly. Movie Queen raced in second ahead of Bacha Quero, who warmed up late. Dancing Babe, who met with interference at the jump, finished impressive fourth ahead of Kohinoor Beauty.

Ajay Sharma's Dazzle upset the calculations in the lower division of the Cup. Apprentice jockey Mohammed Asif rode the five-year-old mare vigorously to establish a runaway lead over Odds N Evens, Anamika and Master Blast. After entering the home straight, the favourite Master Blast put in everything to catch her up but efforts went in vain. He should soon raise a winning gallop. Kohinoor Empire filled the third spot ahead of Odds N Evens, who was perspiring profusely in the paddock.

Sartaj Singh-trained Seven Eight Six landed spoilsports in the Kr Rajendra Singh Memorial Cup, which was the supporting event of the day. The daughter of Rebuttal and Run Woodee Run scored in a start-to-finish mission. Though she ran zig-zag momentarily under pressure in the straight. Honey Spirit, who was changing the legs repeatedly in the straight, ran bravely to finish just three-parts-of-a length away. Tiny Temper once again failed to live up to record and finished third.  Miss Smashing came from behind to occupy the fourth position. Miss Lisicki, who started off slowly, looked in hurry before the bend and finished fifth.

The opening event of the day, which was the Evernsky Plate, had only attracted four runners and the withdrawal of Golden Pride reduced the field to three. A youngster Hitec Pride used his speed to set a slow pace till 700m. The battle for supremacy between Bay of Thunder and Best of Luck began from the top of the final curve. Eventually, Best of Luck pipped Bay of Thunder. But the latter raised an objection for having his way hampered in the last 300m. He failed to convince the authorities.

Rajinder's Sparkling Gold tamed Trusted Man in a thriller in the Road To Glory Plate. The duo were seen running cheek by jowl before the former managed to get neck better of the latter. Steel Force raced in third. Flight of Fancy, who ran fourth bears watching over the longer trips.

H Ali Khan’s Fleet of Feet shed her maiden status at the age of four in the Jerwah Plate. The gelding led from the front. Go with The Flow, who played the role of bridesmaid, should meet with success.
