Chisty  settled Silver Crown to run a close third behind Elenor and Oasis Vision till the final turn. As they began to straighten up, Silver  Crown moved closer to Elenor and with a surge, went ahead inside the last 100 metres. Elenor held on to finish second from Oasis Vision. Strides of Glory finished fourth.

Into the final  run, apprentice G.Sai Vamshi gave a couple of hard cracks and  Commanding Heights accelerated readily to shoot into the lead. Guiding Spirit got the better of Catalina towards the finish, for the third place.

D.Netto trained Rustic Gal (Mr.Mellon-Hyacinth), who was improving placings in the last two runs, finally made it to the winner’s enclosure in the Illustrious Reign Plate. Improving gradually from  behind, Rustic Gal took the path between Thirteen Black and Pavan, in the last 300 metres and surged ahead under A.Imran Khan easily. Bound For Glory improved from the rear to take the second spot, in front of  Rose Queen.

Trainer Anupam Sharma saddled a double through Energetic Lass and The  Himalayas. Energetic Lass (Epicentre-Moon Beam) came out of her maiden  ranks in thelower division of the Ballerina Star Plate. Going to the  lead near the 1000 metres, Energetic Lass came in with a good, usefull  lead, into the home stretch. The favourite Maid For Love started to move up strongly towards the finish but Energetic Lass held on gamely in the hands of Nitin Singh. The first division of the race was run on  Friday, a practice that is followed only at this centre in the country.

The Himalayas (International-Small Virtue)won the higher division of  the Dinky Do Plate by a clear margin. Jockey Carlos Henrique took The  Himalayas to the front at start and made every post a winning one. The  Himalayas started to shift out of the straight course in the last furlong but Henrique looked to be in control and got to the post easily. Citi Supreme, Midnight Beauty and Ace Star finished together  in that order for the minor places.

L.D’Silva trained Coral Springs (Ace-Orient Dance) who had finished  third in all its four runs, trounced the half a dozen opposotion in the King’s Crown Plate, the opener of the day. Coral Springs came quickly from the outside draw to hit the front at start. Any Given Day was in tow in second position till entering the home stretch. On the  straight, Coral Springs started to stretch out, leaving the field way  behind. Squanderers Square rallied late to beat the rest for the second place.

The Challenge (Game Plan-On The Big Screen) from the stables of  S.S.Faisal Hassan, winless from seventeen runs, finally came good in  the lower division of the Dinky Do Plate, the  concluding race of the day.
