MARCEL BOUSSAC FAME FOR GALILEO’S FOUND
By Racing Correspondent | 06 Oct 2014 |
Aidan O’Brien trained Found outclassed her opponents in the G1 Total Prix Marcel Boussac - Criterium des Pouliches in an impressive fashion. Jockey Ryan Moore gave the daughter of Galileo a perfect ride to draw away by 2 ½ lengths from the favourite Ervedya.
Found was in mid-field early and improved smoothly to be in striking position. Approaching the final turn the filly was hampered for a clear run along the rails and the favourite had committed from the outside. Once shown the daylight Found powered her way with a resolute gallop to down the favourite Ervedya. Jack Naylor finished third.
“She’s a big filly with a lovely temperament and you would imagine she will get much more than a mile next year,” commented trainer Aidan O’Brien, “She has all the right attributes. She has the pace to be a Guineas filly and she might get a mile and a half, so she’s very exciting.”
