Parade Queen was speedy at start and led from the front. Moving inside the last 200 metres Parade Queen was trying hard to hold on to the lead. Make Your Day was being ridden out through the shortest way by Ahshay Kumar and Magical Spell was seen to be covering ground from the rear on the wide outside. Parade Queen lost out inside the last fifty metres and Make Your Day put her head in front at the all important end to snatch the victory from Magical Spell. Kohinoor Thunder and Gaarswood took the third and fourth spots respectively from a tiring Parade Queen.

L.V.R.Deshmukh trained Vijay’s Joy (Stern Opinion-Jia Yoh Jia Yoh / Lumbini Stud) pulled off a ‘neck’ win over City Of dreams in the lower division. Vijay’s Joy looked keen right from the start and got to the front as they approached the last 800 metres. Camborne which had lost some precious ground at the start after rearing up when the gates opened was finishing on to take the third place.

Deshmukh in the earlier race had saddled Masti (Echo Of Light-Mustarde) to a maiden win in the higher division of the Brave Dancer Plate. The filly showed plenty of initial speed to hit the front. Symbol Of Pride chased Masti right from the start and was under pressure when asked to challenge inside the last furlong. Masti kicked on gamely to win it with Symbol Of Pride holding on to take the second place from In Command.

The Blue (Admiralofthefleet-Favoured / Kunigal Stud) from trainer K.S.V.Prasad Raju’s stables pulled off a sensational win in the lower division. The top weighted Poll Promise set off on a start to finish bid over the 1100 metres scurry. The short priced favourite Blue Sedection came up to challenge inside the last 200 metres and forged ahead. Just then Blue Sedection stumbled and dislodged the rider. Poll Promise was looking to pull it off after the mishap but The Blue came with a terrific turn of foot to down the top weight on the post. Golden Desire and Prideofmaduranagar finished third and fourth respectively.

Debutante Palisades Park (Phoenix Tower-Sunshiner) won the Golden Plate impressively. Surprise Party set off on a start to finish bid and held forte till approaching the distance marker. True Friend surged ahead to the lead as they passed the 900 metres board and was clear by over four lengths entering the home stretch.  Arudra started to get stronger from the outside and the lead that True Friend had established began to diminish. City Tex was third ahead of Canberra.
