MUMBAI RACES TO GO LIVE GLOBALLY

The Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) has taken a major step towards promoting its races globally. Starting today the racing action on the iconic Mahalaxmi racecourse will be telecast live internationally. After hundreds to international delegates returned pleased with the successful Asian Racing Conference, the live telecast comes as another big boost in promoting western India racing overseas.

The RWITC has entered into a partnership with the Sportsman Media Group for live telecast of the races. All races run at Mumbai and Pune will be telecast live.

Mr Vivek Jain, Chairman, Marketing and Media, was instrumental in sealing the venture said,   “This is a path-breaking agreement giving us a rare opportunity to showcase our racing internationally. That the commencement of the broadcast comes close on the heels of the Asian Racing Conference is but fitting. We hope the interest in and popularity of racing at our Centre grows worldwide with this new and unique partnership, for the first time in India.”
