The five of them were in a line into the last 300 metres and it was Cash Landing and Batur who surged ahead inside the last 200 metres. The two went stride for stride inside the last 150 metres and the bobbling of the heads went in favour of Batur at the wire. Patron Saint and Chinese Thought finished third and fourth respectively.
