Morning Miracle beat the fancied stable companion Kolors on the post after trailing the field for most part of the race. Morning Miracle missed the jump and lost many lengths at the start. The 4 years old was in the last position till almost approaching the final bend. Inside the last 200 metres the favourite Kolors was up to its task taking over the running. Italian Cypress and Morning Miracle began to close up from the outside threateningly. Morning Miracle devoured ground towards the finish and collared Kolors at the post. Italian Cypress finished third.

Deshmukh had earlier in the day scored on the on-money favourite Found Money (Arazan-Forever Elegance) in the Smt.Teegala Sulochana Reddy Memorial Cup. Found Money showed plenty of speed to get to the front as the field of nine settled down for the seven furlongs race. As they got to the last 400 metres on the straight Found Money was still comfortably in the lead and carried it till the winning post to complete an encore. Mighty Swing, Little Smart Heart and Oathofyourdaughter filled the frame in that order.

Trainer S.A.Shehzad Abbas saddled a popular double through Brilliant and Valerian Steel. Brilliant ridden by Deepak Singh managed to pull it off in a blanket finish involving five horses. Brilliant slipped to the front from the innermost draw and led followed closely by Ice Barrier. They came into the straight in the same way. With a furlong left Brilliant still had the lead but that was being threatened with about four horses swooping on the leader. The winning post came to the rescue of Brilliant who held on by a head from Sonic. Upon A Star and Vijay Vidyut finished third and fourth respectively, in the same picture.

Valerian Steel (Yeats-Nan Scurry) scraped through in the Everest Plate, the concluding race of the day. The 5 year old with a win from its only start this season was installed as the firm favourite among the nine contenders. Rosemonde and Flower Roll Up led the pack early with Valerian Steel following them in close attendance. On entering the straight Rosemonde weakened and Valerian headed Flower Roll Up. Humraaj came charging inside the last 100 metres, diminishing Valerian Steel’s lead but failed to collar the favourite by a whisker. Flower Roll Up was a close third and Undu Undu Undu filled the frame.

Trainer Laxman Singh was another professional to add a double to his tally. His ward Mirfield (Win Legend-Integrate) opened its account in the Almanac Cup. Vijays Honour led from the star and brought the field into view on the straight. Mirfield got stronger from the outside and headed past passing the 300 metres board. George Cross rallied on to finish second while Palisades Park and Wonder Eye finished third and fourth respectively in a photo finish.

Olympic Hero (Mathematecian-Gamble In Gold) was another youngster from the stable to score its maiden win. The bay colt won the division I of the Sweet Memories Plate. Olympic Hero moved nicely from outside draw to be well up with the leader Wild Heart. On top of the straight Olympic Hero took over the running quickly and then thwarted the late bid of Avantika who was closing up the gap towards the winning post. Great Glory finished third ahead of Wild Heart.

K.Satheesh trained Composure (Mull Of Kintyre-Almost Perfect) scored its maiden win in the lower division. In Command went on a start to finish bid over the sprint with Composure and Ikigai racing close behind. Inside the last 300 metres General Salute made a bid close to the rails but In Command stayed stubbornly in front. Composure then came up with a challenge from the outside and matching strides with In Command snatched the verdict on the post. Ikigai finished third and Shandaar fourth.

Ananta Vatsalya trained Golden Angel (Roi Maudit-Pretty Fit) whose last win was exactly a year ago won the Nalgonda Plate. Racing a close third till entering the straight Golden Angel surged ahead to take it up and held on from Angel Bell and Time Is Luck.
