Amazing Connection had early speed to go to the front. Russian Link raced second and Feliciana was settled nicely in third along the rails as they approached the turn for home. Once on the straight Russian Link forged ahead and Imran Khan tried to keep it going. Feliciana was pulled out by David Allan passing the 400 metres board and the favourite began to gain ground. Russian Link was relentless till the last 200 metres but surrendered the lead when Feliciana came charging. Sea Lagoon came with a long stretched run from the rear to finish an impressive second ahead of Russian Link.

Torch Bearer was in second followed by The Lieutenant, Zodiac and Storming Home.  The order remained more or less the same till turning for home. Inside the last 400 metres The Lieutenant was the only one making progress and the gelding surged ahead despite Amazing Charm trying hard to stay in front. The on-money favourite Zodiac could only finish third with Torch Bearer filling the frame.

Padmanabhan’s Hall Of Famer (Win Legend-Elusive Trust / Dashmesh Stud) scored an encore in an impressive fashion in the Forester’s Trophy. David Allan settled the grey filly nicely in second behind Premier Ace right from the start. Rounding the final turn Hall Of Famer went ahead smoothly and assumed command. Srinath was all out on Colossal Moments and the filly stretched better of Noble Flaire inside the last 100 metres. Precious Glitter held on in third from Humming Bird.

Ontime (Ace-Timely One / Poona Stud) from trainer T.Natraj’s yard retained its form to score a second straight win in the Setia Teknologi Trophy. Noble Princess rallied on to be third ahead of the favourite Waiting For Glory.
