Always Bullish leading from the start brought the field into view on the straight. Time For Fun charged ahead and grabbed the lead inside the last furlong. Vijay Viraaj came charging from the rear getting closer with every stride but the winning post came to the rescue of Time For Fun who held on by a short-head at the wire. Vijay Vaishnavee rallied strongly along the rails and looked to pull it off at one stage but just couldn’t head past Time For Fun and ended up third. The favourite Woman O War finished a tame fourth.

Camborne was speedy right from the start and led the field with Exclusive Beauty in close attendance. Mid-way up the straight Exclusive Beauty moved alongside Camborne and surged ahead. As Exclusive Beauty neared the winning post Rosemonde came with a flourish but fell short by half a length. Camborne stayed on in third from Rubyonrails.

The lower division of the race saw rank outsider Green Jewel (Crown Jewels-Susanita) from trainer Ananta Vatsalya’s stables pull it off. Entering the home stretch Symbol Of pride was in the lead followed closely by Modern Sniper and Catherine with Green Jewel getting into position from the outside. Green Jewel soon sped past the front runners and broke away by over two lengths that came in handy in the end with Oathofyourdaughter flashing on late to lose out by a head. Par Excellence also finished on to be a close third in the same frame while Symbol Of Pride filled the frame.

White Gold was the smartest out of the gates and led for a while before Rock Baby Rock decided to go to the front.
