Mr Greedy Hogs the Limelight

Mr Greedy (Placerville – Angel Heights) once again showed his grit and knocked out two high-class youngsters – Cabriolet and Sea Star to win the Maharaja Sir Harisinghji Trophy (Gr3) with an awesome burst in the final furlong. The small field of four ran in a single file at a very comfortable pace set by Secret Pilgrim. As they turned for home, Secret Pilgrim came under pressure from Sea Star from the outside.
Mr Greedy went for the opening on the inner rails and shot through like a bullet and in split seconds had the race all sewn up. Cabriolet was both outpaced and outwitted. By the time Cabriolet could launch his final attack, Mr Greedy had progressed too far ahead. Cabriolet ran a tame second. Secret Pilgrim did well to beat Sea Star.
