Trainer Arjun Anne saddled his second winner for the day with Aakash Vani (Eljohar-Carmen) in the lower division. The chestnut mare had not finished on board in the last eight starts after a win and was installed as the favourite with apprentice B.R.Kumar astride. Kireeti, Rebellion and Delta Force finished together in that order for the minor places.
