Your Royal Majesty (Multidimensional – You Are My Miracle, Usha Stud) is getting better with age and his consistency throughout his career has been commendable.  All of seven now, he has had a busy career with 37 outings since his debut in 2013. He recorded his 12^th win victory on Sunday claiming the Ebco Maharaja Sir Harisinghji Trophy (Gr2) beating a tough set and more fancied rivals, with a measure of comfort. Although his pet distance would be seven-furlongs going by the fact that his maximum number of victories have come over that distance, Your Royal Majesty has been effective over the mile as well as he showed on the day.

B Fifty Two set off at a good pace with Your Royal Majesty in fourth spot, Whomakestherules close behind and the rest following close behind.

B Fifty Two galloped strongly once into the straight enjoying a handy lead going into the final two furlongs. Your Royal Majesty, with Zervan astride, started to work his way closer to the leader and was doing so at a brisk pace. Supreme General and New England too were making headway in the homestretch, while popular fancy Whomakestherules just could not get going after being fairly well placed entering the straight.

Your Royal Majesty was finishing the fastest without doubt although B Fifty Two, Supreme General and even New England were in close quarters with the Pesi Shroff ward. Your royal Majesty surged ahead to score by a length to pocket the feature event of the day. B Fifty Two would probably sign off won a satisfactory note having done well this season with the Victory in the Eclipse Stakes beating Temerity as his high point this season, other than finishing runner-up in good races thrice this season.

Glyndebourne (Western Aristocrat – Portia, Nanoli Stud) raced to her second victory on the trot and displayed supreme fitness when tackling the opposition with absolute ease. She hit the front soon on the jump and worked up a good pace all through. Once in the straight, Glyndebourne looked solid in her finishing gallop and stayed well clear of her opponents to romp home with a healthy margin to spare. Bunting improved from the rear and did well to follow the winner, while Fringe Benefit ended a decent third.

Truly Epic (Mull of Kintyre – Sun Control, Sohna Stud) showed startling improvement over both his previous starts and achieved his maiden success in an authoritative manner. He eased in behind Non Plus Ultra, Bushtops and Rouge One and jockey CS Jodha settled the Imtiaz Sait ward nicely.

Non Plus Ultra looked good when she surged further ahead in the straight, with both Bushtops and Rouge One not quiet posing any threat to her. Non Plus Ultra led them into the final furlong and just when she was shaping like going all the way, jockey CS Jodha opened throttle on Truly Epic. The bay colt responded with a fiery but fluent gallop to cruise past them all and score a runaway victory. Non Plus Ultra had to be content with the second slot, while Rouge one finished in the money edging out Bushtops.

Trainer Imtiaz Sait had earlier led in Spontaneous Eddie (Alnasr Alwasheek – Because of You, Villoo’s Greenfield Farm) to a well-fought victory in the day’s opener. Favourite Highland Wind flattered to deceive as he had a real chance of making it when he got the lead early in the homestretch. Highland Wind was found wanting when challenged and it was Spontaneous Eddie who covered good ground in the final furlong to take charge. There was a dual challenge brewing close behind as both Sweeping Move and Wizard of Odds arrived from either side to dethrone Spontaneous Eddie. However, jockey Deep Shankar was up to the task and wasn’t going to squander his big chance to score. He rode out the gelding, providing th finishing touches and carving out a narrow win from Wizard of Odds and Sweeping Move.

Southpaw (Bushranger – Quiet Appeal, Hazara Stud) outclassed the opposition with apprentice G Amit doing some smart things in the saddle. As they were settling down, Southpaw was out quick and in front before Arabian Storm and Wind Craft moved ahead of him. There were others on the outside that galloped along and Southpaw may have fallen back into a difficukt position along the rails and possible traffic to cope. G Amit showed presence of mind and moved along to secure a good position turning for home. He shot into the lead without waiting and soon had Southpaw galloping ahead swiftly. Within strides Southpaw sealed the issue establishing an unsurmountable lead with a furlong to go. Southpaw literally demolished the opposition     winning by a widening margin showing clear superiority over the rest. Yutaka improved to finish third behind runner-up Arabian Storm.

Arc Shine (Pinson – Scholarship, Nakul Stud) possibly on her last outing for the season, pulled off a welcome victory. Trevor had her handy up with the front bunch with Orion’s Belt leading them into the straight and favourite Questionable right there out in front. The moment they turned for home, Arc Shine was quick to take the narrow gap along the rails and steal a march over the rest instantly.

Arc Shine worked up a nice pace to stay ahead while the rest were rallying behind her. It looked that they were heading for a showdown towards the business end of the race. However, Arc Shine showed a clean pair of heels and proved too tough to handle for the others. Arc Shine galloped away to score a fluent win. Porvi ended a good second while Sandalphon managed to beat Questionable for place money.

Trainer Imtiaz Sait was the lone professional to score a double.
