The favourite Music Divine partnered by Pradeep Chouhan raised hopes at the top of the straight, but that was all the Britto ward could do, finishing a tame third behind She’s Stylish.

Imran Khan had it easy on Bluejack, the winner of the lower division of the M W Chinnappa Memorial Cup run over a distance of seven furlongs. The Imtiaz Khan schooled Nawabzaadi was the overwhelming favourite in the upper division of the Psychic Strength Plate.
