FASHION DIVAS READY TO MAKE A STATEMENT AT MEYDAN

The 2024 global racing spectacle, the Dubai World Cup has attracted the best performed horses from across the globe and the galloping goldmines are ready to scale a new high in the high profile extravaganza on Saturday, March 30.
 
The celebrated horses apart, the racing buffs including the bold and beautiful and the fashion divas are ready to make a fashion statement with their designer outfits on the big night at the iconic Meydan Race course. The pomp and gaiety associated with the mega annual event provides railbirds a fine opportunity to win the best dressed prizes on offer at the Style Stakes competition.
 
Despite the fact that Dubai World Cup has framed rules and guidelines to be followed on the big day, a hat or fascinator must for women and that the fairer sex should avoid short dresses and plunging necklines, fashion at Meydan provides a new dimension to the glamour and glitz on the appointed date.
   
The Style Sakes invites the many fashionistas to parade their outfits at the popular and most sought after competition at Apron Views. The ladies entering the competition need to wear a fascinator or hat, while men have to sport a jacket, tie or a bow tie. Jeans is simply a big no no.
 
In this edition of the Dubai World Cup, Style Stakes judges, it is learnt are looking for originality and an expression of personal style. Ruth Bradley made it clear that there is a definite dress code that needs to be followed and ladies need to ditch strapless costumes, while men in pants that are too tight or too short will not gain an entry into the competition.
 
Made to order designer and customised hats are top on the list of ladies looking to catapult to the high fashion level. One will get to witness a good mix of ethnic and modern styles. Bold colours, be it flashy red, catchy blues and sunshine gold will top the list of the contestants looking to set the stage on fire.
