The talented Glorious King chalked out his fourth straight success winning the upper division of the Simply Supreme Handicap in a common canter. Leading saddle artiste Yash Narredu didn't really need to rush or push the top performer in the seven furlongs trip. He stayed calm and composed understanding that his mount was travelling nice and easy all through the journey before he eased the iron grip on Glorious King and reminded him of the task ahead at the top of the straight and the public rage quickly put the race to bed without working up sweat. Loch Lomond from McKeown's yard followed the unbeaten `King', while Swarga managed to save money in place. Glorious King is in rousing form and it will pay to support him until beaten.and that will not happen soon.

The lower division of the event was also claimed by the Narredu brothers, Deepesh and Yash, the latter packing punch on the even-money favourite to edge out the second in demand at the betting ring, Element in a thriller. Moriset from Suresh's yard finished third ahead of Suryakrishi, who slowly yet surely is getting into a striking position in her effort to earn her cornbill in the weeks ahead.

The Baroda Stud Trophy for horses in the lowest category produced a pulse-pounding finish, the favourite Midnight Sparkle piloted by Inayat beating the topweighted Rinello by the shortest of margins. The seven to one shot Rinello would have won the event had he not shifted out alarmingly at a crucial juncture and finished on the outer rail. The Suresh ward in fact in his last effort too kept going out but Koshi Kumar had exercised better control then, but on this day Rinello drifted out to the outer rail and this helped Midnight Sparkle from Parmar's yard emerge a lucky winner. Stolen Glance caught the eye while finishing a close third and is one for the notebook.

Going by the impressive performances in the morning trials, Alpha Domino from Saddam Iqbal's yard should have got the first vote, but it was Sebatian's Larado who attracted maximum support, while Alpha Domino piloted by the promising five-kilo claimer Darshan was freely offered at (4/1). Darshan in the mile long trip for the Victory Sign Handicap kept Alpha Domino in close touch with the leaders before he pushed his mount to gain control in the final furlong and Alpha Domino readily sped past the leaders to romp home a deserving winner. Kallania from Suraj Shaw's yard gained the runner-up berth ahead of Gold Fame, while all that Lorado did was take a lot of good money down the drain.

Earlier, the two top contestants, Go For The Moon from Vijay Dingh's yard and Crown Drive from the stables of Suresh topped the betting board in the Zarakava Handicap run over a distance of seven furlongs. The two in a thrilling encounter fought every inch of the ground before Crown Drive piloted by Peter nosed out Go For The Moon in a humdinger. It is clear from this victory of Crown Drive that this son Charmo is a goodtype of youngster and more will be heard of him in the months ahead. Go For The Moon in defeat was not disgraced and lives to fight another day.

In another rocking finish, the two joint favourites Sensibility from trainer Suraj Shaw's yard and Hawk Of The Wind from the stables of Deepesh Narredu were locked in a ding-dong battle all through the straight in the Diomed Handicap before MS Deora and Sensibility to the delight of the supporters gained the day by the shortest of margins. The lesser fancied Raffinato too was fancied strongly in place and the Fahad Khan ward did well to finish third to the sheer joy of all his supporters. Now that Raffinato is back staking his claim, it will not be long before he earns his winning bracket.

A smart last start winner, Safety from Sebastian's yard recorded her second straight success coming up tops in the upper division of the Rowley Mile Handicap run over a distance of six furlongs. Sai Kumar produced a copybook effort on the winner who is likely to record a hat-trick if her connections place her well in her next attempt. The lesser fancied Alexander followed Safety home ahead of Cartel.

The lower division of the event was claimed by the four to one shot Dazzling Princess from Deepesh's yard strongly piloted by Yash. The public choice Empire Of Dreams raced in patches and much to the disappointment of his large following finished in the ruck.
