HRC ROPES JSK1 GROUP AS NEW SPONSOR FOR ST. LEGER

With a week left before the monsoon racing season concludes at Malakpet, the Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) has roped in a new title sponsor for the Golconda St. Leger to be run on Monday, October 28. The latest sponsor at the HRC will be JSK1 Group, an offshore registered gaming and entertainment enterprise, which features sports, leisure and entertainment all under one roof. The HRC has guaranteed a total prize money of thirty lakh rupees for this Group II race, which will be run over a mile and three quarters.
JSK1 is not a new entity on the Indian horseracing horizon as it has earlier sponsored big ticket events including the Calcutta Derby Stakes at Kolkata. Appreciating the HRC managing committee’s decision to give the gaming company an opportunity to sponsor the St. Leger, JSK1 Group has expressed confidence that their relationship with the turf club will grow stronger in the near future.
In its effort to make the end-of-the-season racing bonanza an attractive proposition for spectators at Malakpet, JSK1 Group will hold a free contest for all visitors turning up at the turnstiles both on Monday and Tuesday, which offers top-of-the-line white goods as a prize for the lucky dip winners.
