Gamati, who held the runner-up berth, received a slight check initially and her handicap of over 12 kilograms was another disadvantage.

Go With The Flow was an impressive third and to be noted over a longer trip. The lower division of the plate went in favour of Little Cut (Case law – Final Cut). Hansraj looked to be vastly improved after a lung opener and was the best among the rest. Manbir Singh's Kemrock (Major Impact – Freedom Cry) toppled the applecart of the favourite Kiana in the Ballo Plate. The market-fancied filly could not recover after having received a severe check within the early furlongs and flopped to be third behind Sangreal.
