Rabi Kounga utilised the handicap advantage and bagged the Delhi Race Club President Cup at the Delhi races on Tuesday. Trainer S P Singh and visiting jockey C S Jodha booted home double. Magan Singh-trained Rabi Kounga, who had had the privilege to run with the top-notch Successor after having been promoted to the top class, was certainly knocking at the door. After finishing behind Quality Assurance and Afea over six furlongs, he was alighted to the task for an extra furlong. Gurpreet, who rode the top-weighted colt, showed no hurry and settled him fourth behind Outstanding, Splendid Man and Afea.

As soon as the trio entered into the homestretch, Gurpreet chose to cash-in on the wide gap between Outstanding and Afea to put his best foot forward nearing the final furlong. Afea, who did not respond under the whip, looked to be promising on Parmod's urging but was unable to stop the victor. Sonic Boom made a late appearance for the next best ahead of the fastest finishing Trusted Friend and Blue Lagoon for the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

S P Singh-trained Skyros took a lesson from yesterday's racing where he ran late third to Divine Thunder. Today, he toppled Real Speed in the senior division of the Always With You Plate which was the day's opener. C S Jodha, who guided the fortune of the chestnut gelding, soon helped Pacemaker to complete an encore within a short span of 24 hours. Running differently over the shorter trip he had to sweat out against Serious Attitude to defy the massive handicap of 63.5 kg in the lower division of the event.

Movie Queen, who ran third, should soon earn a bracket. The Praetorian turned out to be a money spinner for his connections in the Round The Clock Plate. Running after a gap of over two and half months, he left the field gasping for breath making every post a winning one over seven furlongs. The out-of-form, yet the favourite, Hero's Power had to struggle for the runner-up berth. Luck once again played havoc for Lagunillas who got beaten by the Arthur Saulez-trainee Dancing Babe in the Perfect Move Plate.

After taking a lead from the top of the straight, Shadab unfortunately loosened his grip over the rein and the filly suddenly shifted-in between 300m and 200m, and that made all the difference. Seeing the opportunity, Parmod, who was in the saddle of Dancing Babe, brilliantly forced his mount to shift out to snatch the issue. Lilly and Zoombastic who finished third and fourth should find the winning path. Ishwar Singh Parmar's charge Forest Music earned his overdue victory under Naresh Kumar in the Tughlak Road Plate. Brustic Brave was not punished hard for the second position. The run of Dolton Power and sangreal are noticeable.
