2 David Hill, former Champion Trainer in Hong Kong passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 74 in Texas, USA, after battling glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. David started his career in Madras in the early 1970s before moving to Hong Kong. He was the son of the legendary Trainer Sam Hill who trained in with tremendous success in South India since the 1940s. Our sincere condolences to the bereaved family.

3 Legendary trainer S Padmanabhan passed away today morning at 8 a.m in Bangalore at the age of 71. India race extends condolences to the bereaved family.

7 Jockey Suraj Narredu scored his first victory at Ascot astride four year old bay gelding Fireblade, trained by Dylan Cunha. Jockey Suraj Narredu thereby achieved the distinction of being the first indian jockey to score a win at Ascot.
Captaining Team Asia, Suraj added to his solitary win, leading India to win the Shergar Cup, a Team event, as they managed to pip Team Europe by one point in the aggregate tally! Watch Video....
