Racing Incidents
The bit used on ILLUSIVE GIRL broke before the start of the race. Hence it was replaced at the gates. On examination of the equip- ment after the race, it was observed to be otherwise not well maintained and as such Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.2,000/- for using an unserviceable equipment. Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of FREE GLIDER, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 900 Metres due to a tightly packed field. LONGITUDE (R. Ravi) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
