Racing Incidents
For running his charge TIP TOES (App Sk Israil) in shoes other than those declared, Tr. Patrick Quinn was fined a sum of Rs. 250/-. PURSUIT OF POWER (C P Manasseh) was very fractious inside the stall, was unloaded, examined by the Manager – Veterinary Services, passed fit to race and re-loaded. RUBY STAR (Gajender Singh) was slow off losing about 3 lengths. Jockey C P Manasseh, the rider of PURSUIT OF POWER, reported loss of whip at the start. Jockey C P Manasseh, the rider of PURSUIT OF POWER, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage in the final stages of the race. The explanation of Jockey M Reuben, the rider of BARNABEE, that his mount was changing legs and wobbling as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage, was noted. The Manager – Veterinary Services has been advised to examine the gelding and submit his report.
