Racing Incidents
Consequent to Jockey B.V. Krishnan being declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey A. Ramana to be substituted on KING IN THE SKY. INDIAN BRAVE HEART (LAXMAN) was tending to run out throughout the race whereby the Jockey could not assist his mount at any stage of the race. Trainer Sk. Kassam was advised to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next acceptance. Jockeys Suraj Narredu (BOURBON STAR) and M.F. Ali Khan (WUWEI) cautioned for shifting in and out whilst negotiating the final bend in the process bumping each other. Explanation of Jockey K. Suresh (METICULOUS) that his mount was tending to hang out in the straight in the process forced out ROYAL EMBASSY (D. SINGH) and BAKERSFIELD (P. KAMLESH) approaching 400 metres, noted. Trainer K. Satheesh was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance. Jockey M.F. Ali Khan (WUWEI) cautioned for travelling wide in the straight
