Racing Incidents
Consequent to Jockey N.M. Sequeira being declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey R. Laxmikanth to be substituted on BLUE MAGIC. BLUE MAGIC (R. LAXMIKANTH) trailed the field through out the race finishing the course distance behind. Trainer D. Netto was advised to ensure that his charge is capable of a better performance before next acceptance. YOUNG TALENT (APP. A. PRAMOD GOUD) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of the Jockeys efforts. Trainer Sk. Kassam was advised to ensure that his charge is capable of a better performance before next acceptance App. A. Pramod Goud (YOUNG TALENT) cautioned for veering in at about 1200 metres for no apparent reason though no interference was caused. Jockey B.V. Krishnan (MADHO) fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting in 50 metres after the start causing interference to AVON GORGE (CH. K. CHARY). HECK OF A GUY (A. IMRAN KHAN) returned bleeding from right nostril.
