Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was fined Rs.500/- for using hanging bit on his charge SUDDEN THUNDER (S.A. De Sousa) without prior permission. Subsequently hanging bit was removed from the horse before the start of the race. It was observed that the left fore shoe of CASINO ROYAL (Md. Shafiq) had splayed. Subsequently the left fore shoe was put on before the horse left the paddock. Jockey S.A. De Sousa, the rider of SUDDEN THUNDER, reported that his mount was hanging `in` in the straight. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. SOUTH PARADISE (S. John) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.CASINO ROYAL (Md. Shafiq) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge DANTE`S PEAK (Aadesh Kumar) in the above race and he was informed to ensure bette
