Racing Incidents
At the request of Jockey Neeraj Rawal, PADDINGTON was examined by the Manager – Veterinary Services at the start and declared fit to race. SHINING EXAMPLE (V Jaiswal) missed the jump. The saddle used on HORSE RADDISH (App Riyaz Shaikh) slipped at the distance post, completely unbalancing the rider and thereafter dislodging him. Subsequent examination revealed that the equipment was well maintained, as such no action beyond noting the incident, was taken. Tr. J J Stephens was fined a sum of Rs. 500/- for this lapse and was advised to ensure that he takes corrective measures in future. The apprentice escaped unhurt.
