Racing Incidents
TOP GEAR (APP. R. UMESH) jumped out slowly loosing about 4 to 5 lengths. SSC revoked. Jockey Ch. K. Chary (NANO WAR)was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future in that he shifted in at about 100 metres in the process tightening PACIFIC GROOVE (J.H. CHRISTOPHER). Jockey D. Singh (SILVER ROSE) fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting in approaching 1200 metres causing interference to AVON GORGE (K. ANIL) who in turn caused a check to TOLEDO (N.M. SEQUEIRA). Jockey J.H. Christopher (PACIFIC GROOVE) cautioned for shifting in at about 800 metres in the process tightening SILVER ROSE (D. SINGH) and NAVIJA (RAVINDER SINGH). Explanation of Jockey Ch. K. Chary (NANO WAR) that he was forced to check his mount approaching the 600 metres as the front horse UJJAINI (M.F. ALI KHAN) was slowed down in the process causing a check to NAVIJA (RAVINDER SINGH) racing directly behind was accepted.
