Racing Incidents
Jockey Melvyn Maseyk the rider of BOSSY BOSS was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (second infringement). Jockey Melvyn Maseyk the rider of BOSSY BOSS was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 400 Metres whereby he hampered SURMOUNT (I.A.Khan) on his outside. Trainer Mr. T.Natraj was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, CHAMCHA IN CHIEF (S.Chandrashekar). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. MUTUAL FUND (Afsar Khan) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.
