Racing Incidents
Change of rider permitted from Jockey Sk. Farookh to Jockey R. Laxmikanth on TRUE FASHION. MAANUSH (P. UDAY KIRAN) slow out losing about 2 lengths. Trainer Sk. Kassam was fined Rs. 1,000/- for failing to exercise sufficient care in the saddling of his charge MAANUSH (P. UDAY KIRAN) whose saddle slipped. Jockey B. Shanker (RUNWAY MODEL) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the straight in future. Explanation of Jockey S. Shoban Babu (AL ZAHARA) that his instruction were go to the front which he could not follow due to the fast initial pace and his mount was not inclined to raise a fluent gallop throughout the race noted for future reference.. Jockey K. Anil (PORTFOLIO) cautioned for changing course on more than one occasion at about 200 metres.
