Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.5,000/- for his negligence in tying the tongue strap too tight in respect of his charge BILLY BLACKJACK (Afsar Khan). Subsequently, it was rectified before the start of the race. He was further informed that any repetition of such act would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action. Jockey Afsar Khan the rider of BILLY BLACKJACK was fined Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason. HAWAIIAN SUNRISE (S.John) sustained a clipped injury on left fore medial bulb of heel.
