Racing Incidents
GRAND SLAM (K. ANIL) withdrawn on veterinary grounds due to the problem in the eye. PACIFIC GROOVE (CH.K.CHARY) was slow into stride and then reluctant to raise a gallop inspite of Jockeys efforts. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse was trotting lame on his left fore. Trainer S.S.F. Hassan fined Rs. 2,000/- for failing to exercise sufficient care in the saddling of his charge EARTH BENDER (SURAJ NARREDU) whose saddle slipped during the race.
