Racing Incidents
Trainer D.J.Surti has been fined Rs.2000/- for declaring incorrect shoeing on his charge AMERICAN IDOL. The colt was declared with Aluminium, Left Hind High Heel whereas on examination it was found to have Aluminium, Left Fore High Heel. AMERICAN IDOL (Zameer Sayyed) was restless and did not allow the rider to mount for quite sometime. Since the colt had behaved in a similar manner in his last run, Trainer D.J.Surti has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and to show him in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting with him to race.
