Racing Incidents
SILVER HEELS (K.Raja Rao) was observed to be lame on left fore before the start of the race and hence was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey K.Narasimha the rider of READY TO MINGLE was fined Rs.3,000/- for drifting out and causing severe interference to MR SUNRISE (Gaurav Sapra) on his outside approaching the 700 Metres. After the race, the Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that on examination it was observed that the left fore shoe of FIRE OF JOY (D.Gnaneshwar) had apparently splayed during the race.
