Racing Incidents
NUNCIO (S.P.Ranjane) was inclined to lug in during the race. Trainer H.J.Antia has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. Jockey S.P.Ranjane (NUNCIO) and K.P.G.Appu (TAPIS) were observed to have used their whip in excess of the prescribed limit on their respective mounts. No action was initiated against the Jockeys as their mounts were inclined to lug in under pressure and the whip was used as a corrective measure.
