Racing Incidents
Jockey Shanth Kumar was unable to fulfill his riding engagement as he had failed to deposit his riding equipment 48 hours before the race day. Hence permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Singh to substitute Jockey F.K. Shahbuddin in place of Jockey Shanth Kumar the declared rider. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ANDRONICUS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for cutting across the field sharply before passing the red marker post.
