Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Eshwer to substitute Jockey D. Gnaneshwar to ride ANNA`S QUEST in place of the declared rider. Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SHOWHORSE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SHOWHORSE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the extravagant use of the whip on his mount during the race. CONCEPTUAL (S. John) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
