Racing Incidents
PROSPECTIVE QUEEN (Afzal Khan) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths. Tr. Mr. Patrick Quinn and App Pintu Das were questioned regarding the running and riding of bg FIRING POWER, unplaced by the Judge in the above race with particular reference to the running of the horse between the 1000 metres and 600 metres and thereafter from the 300 metres to the winning post. The Trainer stated that : a) He instructed the rider to take a good start, sit in mid bunch, and to do his best in the straight. b) On him questioning the rider after the race the jockey was unable to give a satisfactory explanation as to his riding in the questioned areas.
