Racing Incidents
FIT FOR FRAY (M Reuben) got stuck between the two halves of the rear gate of its starting stall, thereby delaying the start of the race. On being freed the filly was examined and declared medically unfit to race by the Sr. Veterinary Officer. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge again until certified fit to race by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
