Racing Incidents
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Ramesh to the Stewards under Rule No.144(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that as the rider of UNDUE he weighed out with a body protector of a pattern not approved by the Stewards. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey S. Ramesh. After deliberations they decided to suspend Jockey S. Ramesh from riding in races from 1-7-2009 to 2-7-2009 (both days inclusive) for riding with a body protector of a pattern not approved by the Stewards (Rule No.144(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above race (permitted to ride work). Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PHOENIX REACH.
