Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for accepting his charge SUDDEN THUNDER (Imran Chisty) to start for this race without producing the Fitness Certificate when he had been specifically advised to do so after his last run on 7-3-2009 in Race No.199 of the BWM 2008-09. Under the circumstances, the horse was withdrawn from the above race. As Jockey M.F. Ali Khan was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Singh to substitute Jockey F.K. Shabuddin to ride MANTHARA in place of the declared rider.
