Racing Incidents
At the request of Trainer H.J.Antia, FORCADO was examined on 21st July, 2009 at 1900 hours and was found to be sore by the left hind leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club?s VO before next accepting to race. At the request of Trainer Altaf Hussain, STAR IMPACT was examined on 22nd July, 2009 at 0930 hours and was found to have bruises on the sole of the right fore hoof. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. ALVIDA (T.Mahesh) was slow in the strides, losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer Janardhan has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Near 1000 metres, SEA PRINCESS (App S. Zervan) shifted in and carried GENERALISSIMO (Nadeem Alam) inwards and later took its running, causing severe interference to GENERALISSIMO. App S Zervan
