Racing Incidents
App N.S. Parmar (NATIVE STARTEGY) reported loss of whip near 150 metres. This being the second occasion on which the Apprentice has reported loss of whip during the current Pune Meeting 2009, he has been fined Rs. 1000/-. The explanation of Jockey Sunny Chinoy (CALLING THE SHOTS) that he was badly drawn and that he had expected the other horses to move ahead of him and he had intended to be in 2nd or 3rd position as instructed. Further, that he did not get a chance to position his mount as intended was noted.
