Racing Incidents
The Stewards having considered the report of the Stipendiary Stewards into the circumstances which led to ACCORDION (M.F. ALI KHAN) and SMARTY PRINCE (D. GNANESHWAR) being loaded in Stall Nos. 2 & 1 instead of 1 & 2 respectively, the Stewards opened an enquiry. Having considered the evidence tendered by the Starters in conjunction with the Stipendiary Stewards and satisfying themselves that the above lapse did not have any drastic material effect on the running of this race, the Stewards resolved that no further action be initiated in the above matter. The Stewards however severely warned the Starters for the above lapse and directed them to ensure that such lapses do not occur in future, failing which they would be liable to severe action.
