Racing Incidents
SEA MONARCH (App Md. Sameer) was very fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate of SEA MONARCH has been revoked by the Starter. Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of GALASHIELS, was reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control over his mount in the final stages of the race thereby allowing the colt to shift ‘in’ and momentarily inconvenience PALME DOR (Russell Xaviers).
