Racing Incidents
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar was fined Rs.2,000/- for accepting two rides in the same race. Subsequently permission was granted to trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa to declare Jockey Madhu Babu to ride VEDAPRIYA. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde) was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for his negligence in accepting his charge OUTCLAS (M. Suresh) to run in the above race without obtaining a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.
