Racing Incidents
Consequent to Jockey B. Shanker being declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted App. R. Umesh to be substituted on MANY THANKS. Jockey P.S. Chouhan (DEMOCRACY) reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race more so in the straight. Trainer advised. Jockey K. Anil (BOYANCE) cautioned to be more vigorous in the straight. Jockey A.Ramana (AMONTILLADO) reported loss of his whip in the last 100 metres. Explanation of Jockey M.F. Ali Khan (STROKE OF LUCK) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer T. Srinagesh and noted for future reference.
